We manufacture a wide range of Non Reflective Crossing Roadstuds for highway Pedestrian Delineation and other areas - from the 'Original' square 100mm fitting to Fine Profiled, Round and many other versions. Whichever type is chosen, all are designed to be retro-fitted into almost any existing paving and meet the requirements of BS873 Pt. 4.
Pedestrian delineation roadstuds are non-reflective and are used to indicate a controlled or non-controlled pedestrian crossing area. Crossing roadstuds are cast from an approved grade of aluminium alloy or stainless steel. They are available as a round or square top profile in aluminium, and also in round or square top in stainless steel.
The aluminium 100mm square crossing roadstuds come with a plain top, or with a raised profile to improve skid resistance in adverse weather conditions.
The stainless steel road studs are available with a square or round top. All crossing roadstuds have a shank for anchoring into the road surface – this effectively resists any twisting movement. Round aluminium 100mm diameter domed top studs are available as an alternative. Crossing studs are installed into the road using hot melt adhesive.
Crossing studs meet the requirements of BS873 Pt. 4.
Our Technical Services office provides great assistance to clients and contractors to rinstall the units.

Grid pattern layout is used to indicate pedestrian crossings with dropped kerbs, light-controlled crossings, and crossings with no traffic lights. Offset pattern layout is used to indicate the edge of the platform at Rail stations, or off-street applications. The set-out of the pattern is critical - the rows of blisters must be parallel to the kerb-edge, and generally set back 400mm back.
A Stainless Steel site drilling template can be supplied to suit any application - contact our Technical Services office for assistance.
